My research explores how low-income households experience renewable energy policies in Wales. It introduces Renewable Energy Literacy (REL)—a framework showing how sharing knowledge builds trust and inclusion. Focusing on the Warm Homes Programme, it highlights that lasting energy transitions depend not just on technology or funding, but on communication, participation, and shared understanding.
